New York bases painter Rick Jefferson has been creating Pop Culture paintings for the last 30 years. His paintings typically reflect his own life experiences and include everyday activities from commuting to parting. From the eyes of a Jazz club musician many of Rick's paintings involve music and the rush from listening to Jazz. His love of music clearly shows in his work. Gambling, drinking and the many sins of man are found within the darker side of his imagery. When asked why he uses such a full pallet of colors, he responds " I love em all and they love me".
