Artist Biography Benji Williams was born in 1984 in Alabama. Moving to Georgia soon after, Benji grew up in the south and drew pictures as soon as he could pick up a pencil. Throughout grade school he made his own comic books, and upon entering college, began painting. Benji graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2006 with a degree in Illustration. Since then, he's been working as a freelance illustrator, juggling editorial work, instructing art classes, creating paintings for the gallery setting, and creating animated commercials for a chicken company in northeast Georgia.
