Bleeding Hearts & Melancholy Stars
Description
Bleeding Hearts & Melancholy StarsLimited Edition Canvas signed and numbered by the artist Young Chun.
Edition of 75
His paintings allow him to express his inner-voice, to spit out, and to visually see, what he has kept bottled-up inside of him.
Born the son of a protestant minister; Seoul Korea, 1977. Young Chun - remembers a time in his life, when he lived in a small attachment to a hillside church. Much of his time was spent in isolation. The kid who had returned back from the U.S. was thought to have little in common with his Korean peers. The weekdays spent running around in the dim- empty-chapel, with make-believe friends has fueled his imagination; contributing to his artistic growth, and the discovery of his passion.
Although he received his formal art education, from the prestigious Art Center, college of design, in Pasadena, California; Young-remains a continuous student of the environments that surround him-the contemporary society.
He is currently living in Orange County, California; working as a board licensed Respiratory Therapist, in many of the hospitals, located in the Los Angeles area. His experience working with patients in life and death situations has helped him to gain depths and meaning in his personal life; reflecting in his art.
