Benji Williams was born in 1984 in Alabama. Moving to Georgia soon after, Benji grew up in the south and drew pictures as soon as he could pick up a pencil. Throughout grade school he made his own comic books, and upon entering college, began painting. Benji graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2006 with a degree in Illustration. Since then, he's been working as a freelance illustrator, juggling editorial work, instructing art classes, creating paintings for the gallery setting, and creating animated commercials for a chicken company in northeast Georgia.
